Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Easily my favorite pizza place in the area. My favorite is the Hawaiian bbq. I have yet to try a pizza I haven't liked. The crust is herb infused which makes it the best part.

They're pizza is pretty good, but their cheesy bread is to die for. They have friendly and helpful staff and the food comes quick and fresh. We love coming here!

Our family ate there tonight for the first time. The kids loved being able to watch the pizza being made. The workers were very nice with the "on-lookers." We arrived before it became busy, but still very fast service; fast causal, take out and delivery place. My oldest loved the cheesy garlic bread. The other kids loved there pepperoni pizza. My husband and I shared a spicy chicken buffalo pizza. It was awesome loved the flavor combinations. The bacon was the perfect crispness and a good amount of toppings too! We ended it with a pizzookie. A half-baked cookie with ice cream. Yum!

Discovered this delicious restaurant two weeks ago and have already eaten there twice. The chicken ranch pizza will change your life! Best pizza I've ever had. Great staff, great decor and space. They even had coloring books and crayons while you wait for the kids to enjoy. They make their dough not just every day but every few hours!

Somehow I expected servers instead of fast casual. It doesn't change the review, but it explains some of the shortcuts on the food. The sauce is very sweet, even by national chain restaurant standards. It also has to do double and triple duty. It tastes like it's the same sauce in the spaghetti. Certainly the spaghetti tastes like it has pizza sauce rather than a sauce I'd want on spaghetti. It is only a little over boiled and soft. That's good. I still wouldn't order it again. The pizza seems to use the same ingredients out of a bucket you see in the "mis en place" at Papa Murphys or other standard pizza places. Yes, it's really quick and easy to grab a handful of each ingredient and already shredded cheese. Voila, generic pizza. Its one saving grace is they cook it well. Nothing wrong with the food, but I don't understand so many high ratings. I suppose it's the near lack of competition in PG.

This is a great, local pizza joint. It's hard to think of what to compare it to. The price is good though and you can feed a family of 6 and a couple more for ~$30. We went with the BBQ pizza and a pepperoni and olive. The food took quite a while to come out, but when it did we all thought it was good pizza. I only had the pep and olive, so I can't speak for the BBQ chicken. The location had a good feel to it and the seating was comfortable. It's great to see some good food popping up in PG. I grew up in PG and back then it was only Purple Turtle and Taco Amigo, unless you wanted to go further. I hope this place stays around.

My husband and I found this place on this app and we read the reviews so we thought we would give it a shot. I can't even tell you how amazing this place was! Everything about it. The food, the atmosphere, the service. As soon as we walked in the lady at the checkout counter was very friendly and welcomed us in. She answered all our questions. We ordered their cheese bread and bbq chicken pizza. Both blew us away with how tasty and well prepared everything was. The prices were very reasonable and we spent just over $20 for the two of us which left us with plenty of leftovers. We will definitely be returning here and we loved this place! Loved the location as well :)

The salads are excellent! I thought the wedge salad would be my favorite, but I was absolutely surprised by the barbecue chicken salad. Barbecue sauce on salad seemed really odd but it was SOOOO good!

This is a 3.5 rating for reals. But the reason I didn't round up is because... I would not go out of my way to eat here. Perhaps I am a food snob, but Pizza in california is just so much more delicious. That being said, if you are into trying new food, i endorse it for trying it out. The BBQ chicken, meat lovers, chicken alfredo, and cheesey bread is all good quality. But if you are not just randomly in the Pleasant Grove area, there are other pizza places that are just as good. Thankfully there weren't a lot of people there so it wasn't annoyingly overcrowded (it is a small joint). Except the 6'4'' chick dwarfing our table for our first fifteen minutes there... I have no idea what she was doing there. Anyways the final verdict: only go if you REALLY REALLY REALLY like trying to new places.

Fantastic pizza and great customer service (Caitlyn). Lots of smiles and very personable. Would definitely come back! I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Also, the crust is some of the best crust ever!
(5)Christopher F.
This place was great. The food was excellent and the staff was great. Highly recommend!!!
(5)Brett B.
We ordered the Teriyaki Hawaiian pizza and the BBQ Chicken pizza. I like that they both have twists that other pizza places in the area don't offer. The family favorite was the Teriyaki Hawaiian.
(5)Ryan S.
This place has the best cheese breadsticks I've ever had. I've been to a lot of pizza places even Grimaldis and this is better. The prices are perfect for my wife and I where a $10 large can fill us both up. It's fire stoned pizza which gives the crust an authentic taste. Just great pizza and service all around.
(5)Lucky B.
Had two specialty pizzas: the BBQ Chicken and Spinach Chicken Alfredo (plus cheese bread with marinara and ranch for dipping). Both were tasty, fresh, delicious, and came out quicker than we thought. Four of us adults shared and had half of each pizza left over. Good deal considering the quick service, family price of $27ish, AND they have pebble ice (for the win!) I'm already looking forward to going again.
(5)Eric J.
Not bad at all. Not slow either, and the lunch special is a pretty reasonable deal.
(4)Andrea M.
Went again, and was given the lunch special prices even though it wasn't even the right day for lunch specials! Awesome customer service and still very good pizza.
(5)Amber K.
We had the Hawaiian teriyaki pizza. 8" was smaller than I expected but I suppose I could have asked how many it serves before ordering. It has four slices and serves just one or two people. As far as taste goes, I absolutely loved the flavors and I'll definitely go back again.

I've been here a few times for lunch. This place is really good. It's a bit pricey for my particular budget, so I can sadly only go rarely. Although, if I could I would eat here constantly. Pizza is one of my favorite foods and considering they are within walking distance from me I always have to force myself to stay away. The place is really layed back. I wouldn't expect a full on waiter service, but if you need anything or have any questions, you only need to ask. The service is one of my favorite things about this place. Yes, it's a little casual, but they are seriously some of the nicest guys. They are always ready to help and check to make sure your doing okay or need anything. Everytime I go I feel almost like a friend. The pizza is great, but the cheese bread is fantastic! This is the freshest and nicest pizza in PG.
(3)Steve R.
Wow I just had some of the best pizza ever. You need to try this Firebird pizza. They are awesome. They have pasta and pizza and salads. I just tried the maple bacon apple pizza and it rocked! These guys have awesome customer service this is one great restaurant.
(5)Brian T.
This pizza was ok at best. Crust: mega average Cheese: sparse Pesto: questionable We won't return.

My first visit (today) was a very good one. Being new, I went with a pizza lunch special, which is just an 8" pizza and a drink. I opted for the sausage lovers specialty pizza, and it was very tasty--I really liked it. It was a bit small (though exactly as advertised), so it would be easy to complain about the portion size... but that's my fault since I got what I ordered. The price ($8) was very fair for what I received, so I will not complain at all. :) Their small dining room seats about 36 patrons. They serve Coca-Cola products, which is good since no soft drink goes with pizza better than a Coke. This place is easy to find and the service was very personable. I look forward to going back soon to try some of their pasta.
(4)Gina J.
We ordered the summer special. It was SUPER busy (during strawberry days) but honestly they handled it well. 15.99 for a 2 topping pizza, cheesy bread and a 2 liter. You really can't go wrong! The pizza had a ton of cheese which I like. The pizza crust is not thin enough for me, I'm from NY, and lacked that beautiful burn on The Bottom that I desire. But it was good none the less. Being from NY, I appreciated the atmosphere. It takes me back to the mom and pop shop corner pizza places of my youth. The service was SUPER friendly. We will he going back.
(4)Barbara M.
We ordered the creamy pesto pasta and the spinach chicken alfredo pizza to share. We finally got our food after almost 45 minutes. It was so cold inside the restaurant that my husband had to go out to our vehicle to get a jacket for me. The air was on full blast...I guess for the employees, because it is March. I don't get cold easily. Be forewarned that the spinach on the pizza is only a garnish and not cooked with the pizza. The bacon is artificial bacon bits. The pasta was pretty good, but the bread was cold. We don't live near this place, but if we did, I would not be back.

The first time we ate here must have been an off night, because after giving it a second shot my husband & I will definitely be back. After that first experience (from what I gathered somebody new made our meal), the owner took very good care of us. His name is Ben and he's a very friendly, professional guy that you really just want to give your business to. And he'll go out of his way to make sure you leave happy. The pasta my husband had the second time was amazing and mine was even better. Highly recommend this little pizza joint, we will definitely be back in next time we are in that neck of the woods.

I just tried this place for the first time today, and I was pretty impressed. There has been a few private owned pizza restaurants come and gone in Pleasant Grove throughout the years, most of them did a good job, but none were on the same level as Firebird. I had their lunch special, which is an 8" specialty pizza with a drink. The nice guy that took my order was kind enough to let me do a half and half with sausage lovers and BBQ chicken, so I can try two different kind of pizzas in one shot, and both of them were really good. Firebirds' toppings are large and chucky with good amount of cheese which reminds me of the pizzas I had from the Pie in SLC, and that is a good thing. The BBQ chicken pizza was unique because they actually use pizza sauce on the crust, then they add BBQ sauce on top, and I thought that was really good. The only bone I have to pick was that, while the edges of the crust is nice and crunchy, the bottom got soggy very quickly, but I'm not sure if it's because I asked for half and half and it was holding too many toppings. I'm really glad Pleasant Grove finally has a pizza restaurant that has really good quality, and I hope this place is here to stay.

Stopped by on a slow Tuesday night, and had fantastic service. We contemplated doing half and half for a large pizza, but realized their family meal deal was a better bargain. We started with the cheesy bread which had a great flavor then got the lemon pesto pizza which was fresh and delicious...really a must try! We also got the spinach chicken alfredo which was also great. Ultimately if you are in the area...or even not in the immediate area it is worth the detour off the freeway!
(5)Lisa M.
Okay seriously- when I can't go even 5 days without needing and wanting more of this pizza, you know it is REALLY good! I think I'm in trouble!
(5)Shanda K.
We had the pepperoni pizza for the kids, the cheese on this pizza was delicious! The adults had the buffalo and I loved it! The crust isn't perfection but still good. I had my family if 7 there on a Friday night and we were the only ones there, it was great! They did have a delivery boy coming in and out at a constant rate so it looks like they have some good business.
(4)Kevin J.
This is my second time and it is amazing. We made our own pizza and did you know You can get fresh basil on your pizza! Wow the cheese bread is really good and my daughters are more than happy with the spaghetti and meatballs. Great way to feed a family of 4 like royalty for a great price.
(5)Linze P.
Omg fuego! This place is the best pizza in town by far! Sweetest owner, great service. We'd go bak. Always a line around the block! ;)
(5)Adam B.
I was very impressed. Wife was only a little. Atmosphere is ok, not great. Pizza is top notch. Staff is personal.
(4)Joe L.
Great bbq pizza. Great cheesy bread. I love old parts of town like this. It is next to a city park too. Eat here.
(5)C. W.
Pretty good pizza, but our chicken artichoke was slightly doughy. I find this surprising given that it took almost 40 minutes to receive our order of two 8" pizzas. BBQ was good, pretty standard but fairly tasty. I might try coming back on a less busy night, but definitely not with any time constraints. It's not fun to eat a messy pizza in the car on the way to a movie.
(3)Adam D.
Cheese bread was the best part of the meal. The pizza reminds me of frozen deli pizza from a grocery store. I can't recommend this pizza to anyone. Honestly .... Little Caesars makes a better pie. And that's the truth. The reviews were mixed on the meatballs. One person liked it and one hated it. Both agreed they were probably frozen. I am seeing 5 star ratings on here and it makes me sad. If you think this place is 5 star pizza ... I weep for your taste buds.
(2)Tom J.
Absolutely love this place it is so freaking delicious for the pizza and it's pretty fair price for a pizza joint and we always sneak over and grab myself a delicious cupcake from their neighbor what a great business partner to have next to you pizza and cupcakes
(5)Barton D.
Super good pizza, got the chicken artichoke. don't bother with the side salad. Glad I went and I want to go back and try some other stuff.
(4)Megan T.
There cheese bread is so good. Their chicken Alfredo was really good. Will be returning!!
(5)Mandy A.
I just walked in to check it out. It looked and smelled good. The pizza chef was texting on his phone, then, without washing his hands or wearing gloves, he started making the pizza. Yes, he touched the dough with his fingers. I saw it with my own eyes. I left. Immediately.
(1)Angela W.
So fresh and reasonable price. The ingredients they use are delicious and very tasty. Pleasant grove neded a quality pizza place! It's not $5 but it's quality pizza, not quantity.
(5)Joel B.
This place is small and informal-- you can talk to the guys if you want. They have gone to great effort to distinguish their signature creations from the competition. For example we were blown away tonight by the "chicken artichoke" which was so much more; the sauce is a cream cheese / marina mix and it's finished with a balsamic glaze. Worth a visit. No delivery yet.
(5)Raechel L.
We love this pizza place, it's our new favorite. The staff is super nice, and everything is made fresh.
(5)Ken B.
Simply amazing! Best pizza I've had in a very long time! Highly recommended.. And the people are very nice!
(5)Hailey B.
Small local little place- nothing fancy. Clean and nice. The Spinach Chicken Alfredo pizza was Amazing! Plenty of cheese, great flavor, and really liked the crust!
(5)Wyatt L.
The pizza and pasta are very tasty! The BBQ chicken pizza was one of the best we have had. Very friendly staff and a clean environment. Will be back soon
(5)Heather B.
SO delicious! It's about time Pleasant Grove gets not only A restaurant but a GOOD restaurant!
(5)Jason B.
This is a great little pizza place in downtown Pleasant Grove. One of the best pizzas here is the lemon pesto. Especially during fresh tomato season it is absolutely awesome. The pasta portion size comes in half or full. The half size is plenty big enough to eat for lunch. They also carry Coke products, and have an awesome Diet Coke. The margarita pizza is always a fave. You won't be disappointed.
(4)Matthew K.
Had bread sticks, spinach Alfredo pizza, and a pasta. All were good, but none stood out as fantastic. Bread sticks had a good ratio of bread, cheese and seasoning. The ranch sauce was excellent. I don't know what they do but they make some fantastic ranch. Pizza was fresh and tasty. Pasta was descent, but our least favorite of the dinner.
(4)Brock J.
great food! I recommend the pizza over the pasta but the pasta is also very good. solid location, solid service, and I will definitely be a loyal customer to fire bird !
(5)Brandon C.
I dont know what they are putting in their pizza over there but I'm loven it. I hangout down the road and I'm always seeing Firebird pizza come through the door. So I finally walked down the road to see what was going on. I ordered a Chicken Alfredo large with the thought I would take it back and share. When I got it and started the walk back the smell was to much and had to grab a slice. And change of plans. Sneak around back get in my truck and take this thing home. Cause I dont want to share this pie. Its that good. This place is addictive.
(5)Steve C.
I've had lunch here twice now, once with pasta and once with pizza. The pasta was very good and the pizza was excellent. Both got out to me fast. It's quick-serve but the environment and food quality are more like a sit-down restaurant - without paying for a waitress or waiting for someone else to bring you a refill. The owners also run Chubby's so they know how to make good food. The space and fixtures at Firebird are newer, they serve Coke products instead of Pepsi and it's less crowded during lunch. For now...
(5)Hunter C.
Tried Firebird Pizza for the first time tonight with the family. The pizza was excellent. We had the combination and a sausage pizza for the kids. Both of them were great. The service was friendly and helpful. Well done guys!
(5)Russ M.
this place is amazing! fantastic pizza with amazing crust, pasta and crisp salads. well worth your time and money.
(5)Leilani N.
Yummy pizza and such nice service. Just drove in from Los Angeles and found a yummy spot that the whole family enjoyed.
(4)Kathryn C.
Went the first time for girls night out with the neighbors. Had the chicken and spinach, I didn't read the descriptions in the paper menu and was thrilled when it was so much more....including bacon. Decided to take my dad the next day. Had the Chicken artichoke, didn't think my dad would like it, but the thought it was good. The next day I took my husband, son and dad. Had the family special which is a deal! Had the lemon pesto....that was good. The crust is not took thick, not to thin. The brick oven cooks it perfectly. Love having pizza topped with fresh veggies or basil. 3 days in a row and all of it has been well worth it. Only negative is the soda is not quite the right carbonation ratio.
